Sims Recycling Solutions is committed to providing the most sustainable solutions for all your e-recycling needs. As the leader in environmentally responsible management of end-of-life electronics, our processes have been proven to serve and protect the communities in which we operate.
1. Why e-recycling?
Obsolete electronics are the fastest growing component of the global waste stream. The volume of end-of-life electronics is growing two to three times faster than any other part of the waste stream and can contain toxic materials, including lead, mercury, chromium, nickel and zinc. As the world's largest recycler of electronics, and as one of the world's top 100 most sustainable corporations, we are in a unique position to help.
Your electronic products are made from valuable resources such as precious metals, plastics and glass, all of which can be used to create new products. E-recycling conserves our natural resources and avoids air and water pollution, as well as gas emissions that are caused by manufacturing new products.
