Tampa Electronics Recycling

Our Tampa facility takes pride in providing our residents with environmentally safe recycling     options. At our 155,000 sq ft facility, we process all materials domestically, in which, nothing ever goes to landfill. Our domestic recycling capabilities conserve valuable resources and avoids the potential for environmental liabilities.

1. Why e-recycling?

Obsolete electronics are the fastest growing component of the global waste stream. End-of-life electronics can contain lead, mercury, chromium, nickel and zinc. As the world's largest recycler of electronics, we are in a unique position to help.

Your electronic products are made from valuable resources such as precious metals, plastics and glass, all of which can be used to create new products. E-recycling conserves our natural resources and avoids air and water pollution, as well as gas emissions that are caused by manufacturing new products.

2. What is your resident collection policy?

Our Tampa facility hosts free residential take-back events on the 2nd Friday of every month with the exception of Televisions and Monitors ($15/TV or Monitor). Event hours are from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

3. When is your next scheduled event?

See the upcoming events listed below.

4. Are there a maximum number of items allowed to bring in?

Yes. The collection limit is 10 per individual. Any amount over the limit may incur costs.

5. If I do not live in Florida, can I drop off my items, free of charge?

Yes. We accept items from all 50 states.

6. What happens to my electronics after I drop them off?

When your electronics are in our facilities they are sorted to determine the proper processing protocols. Equipment is tested by our technicians to determine whether or not it holds any remarketing value. If not, all of your electronics will be de-manufactured and recycled using the latest and most efficient recycling technology available. Hazardous components are handled under strict environmental guidelines and procedures to ensure environmental responsibility.
