This event will run from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and is open to all New York City residents. Event sponsors include the Upper West Side Recycling Center and NYC Councilperson Gale Brewer’s Office.

These certifications require adherence to specified requirements of environmental, health and safety management.

Sims will allow local businesses to drop off electronics for recycling at no cost for two days on Thursday March 10th and Friday March 11th from 8:00am – 4:00pm at four drop off locations. Sims Recycling Solutions, the world’s largest electronics recycler nearly tripled their December volumes during the January 2011 first Friday of the month electronics recycling event at their facility in Roseville, CA. At the first drop off event of 2011 Sims Recycling Solutions welcomed over 80 cars and collected close to 10,000 lbs of electronics for recycling.
