
Responsible Recycling (R2) Certification
Tucson, AZ - Sims Recycling Solutions, the world's largest electronics recycler has successfully achieved Responsible Recycling Practices for Electronics Recyclers (R2) certification at its facility in Tucson, AZ. This new standard supported by major electronic OEM's, the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), public interest groups, the US EPA, and U.S. state and local governments, is a stringent set of requirements for electronics recyclers. The standard includes requirements for environmental, worker health and safety, and security practices.
